Josep Quer Villanueva

ICREA research professor at Pompeu Fabra University and a tenured member of the Philological Section of the IEC, he has been researching in the field of formal linguistics of sign languages since 2002. He is currently the director of the Catalan Sign Language Laboratory (LSCLab) at UPF, the first research group focused on the formal study of LSC, in the areas of theoretical morphosyntax and semantics. He has directed important national and European research projects on sign languages. He has published numerous scientific articles in prestigious journals and publishers, and has been co-editor of the journal Sign Language & Linguistics, as well as some reference works on sign language linguistics. He is the director of the project.
Delfina Aliaga Emeterio

LSC teacher since 2000 and researcher since 2002. Graduated in Social Education in 2021, she also participates in the project of the adaptation to LSC of the Common European Framework of Reference. Since 2018, she has been member of FESOCA Language Policy board and was a member of the European Network of Sign Language Teachers for two years. She is an LSC native signer; in the LSC Corpus Project, she is in charge of contacting with the associations, organization and development of the recordings and annotation of the recordings. She has been part of the project since the beginning, in 2012.
Gemma Barberà Altimira

Professor of Linguistics and LSC and researcher since 2004. She holds a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science and Language since 2012 with the doctoral thesis on reference in LSC discourse. She currently coordinates the LSC-UPF Works at Pompeu Fabra University and also coordinates and participates in the project of adaptation to LSC of the Common European Framework of Reference. She has worked in France, the Netherlands and in other European projects related to sign languages. In the LSC Corpus Project, of which she has been a part since 2012, she carries out coordination tasks.
David Falguera García

Graduated in Special Education from the University of Lleida in 2007 and teacher of Catalan Sign Language (LSC) with extensive experience in different institutions and associations. LSC native signer, he has been trained as a teacher and LSC Specialist at the University of Barcelona and at Pompeu Fabra University. He currently teaches LSC courses at Àgils Comunicació and at the Official School of Languages in Barcelona. In the LSC Corpus Project, of which he has been a part since 2019, he carries out the tasks of annotating recordings, contacting associations, organizing and developing recordings.
Aida Villaécija Chavarria

LSC interpreter since 2018 and she holds a PhD in linguistics. She has also been teacher in the Department of Translation and Language Sciences at Pompeu Fabra University. Her field of research focuses on morphology, lexicography and the creation of neologisms. Her doctoral thesis focuses on the study of sequential and simultaneous derivational morphemes in LSC. Within the project, of which she has been a part since 2019, she develops the tasks of reviewing the annotations and providing content for the Lexicographic Database Project.
Santi Frigola Segimon

Teacher of LSC since the 1992 and researcher since the 2002. He is a UPF teacher in the Vocational Training of Mediation and gives courses, workshops and conferences on LSC in institutions and centres of different fields. For 16 years he was a member of the Language Policy board of the FESOCA. An LSC native signer, he is an activist in the associative and political movement of the Deaf community. Within the team, he develops coordination and management tasks, both in the Corpus Project and in the Lexicographic Database Project, developing its content from the beginning of the project.
Alexandra Navarrete González

She has been an LSC interpreter since 2015 and holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics since 2022. Her thesis focuses on the information structure of LSC. She has participated in the European SignHub project as a researcher in charge of the grammatical description of LSC. She teaches Spanish language and creative writing courses for Deaf people. Within the team, of which she has been a part since 2014, she is in charge of reviewing the annotations and providing content for the Lexicographic Database Project. In the LSC Corpus Project, she carries out the tasks of reviewing and translating the annotations.
Eulàlia Ribera Llonc

She is a philologist and speech therapist and holds a Ph.D. in sign language linguistics since 2015, with a doctoral thesis on the morphosyntax of the lexical category of the verb in LSC. From 2008 to 2016 she carried out educational support for Deaf children at the Center for Deaf People of Maresme in Mataró (CPSMM). She has been part of the project since 2016 and carries out the tasks of coordinating the lexicographic database project, gathering existing materials in LSC, extracting signs and preparing lexicographic content.
