We are in front of the Institute of Catalan Studies (IEC). In 2007 FESOCA, with the collaboration of the IEC, began organizing the LSC Seminar, with the aim of disseminating existing research and projects on Catalan Sign Language. At first, the Seminar was organized annually, but later it became biannual. On June 1st, 2018, the VII Seminar on LSC took place, where research, education and dissemination on this subject was presented. The IEC also displayed the work it is doing on LSC. Alexandra Navarrete and Eulàlia Ribera presented the Lexicographical Database project for LSC and its connection with the Corpus. The LSC Corpus is a project that aims to collect data from signers of different profiles from all over the Catalan territory. A link is made with the database of the signs that are listed. The presentation was a success, as it was done simultaneously in LSC and in Catalan so that the information reached everyone.
